There is reason to be concerned but also evidence that the current president is handling the situation much differently from his predecessor.

By contrast, the path to a special counsel to look into the Biden documents was significantly speedier and his team appears to be more cooperative. The Presidential Records Act has been in effect since the Reagan era and it requires that all presidential documents be handed over to the National Archives and Records Administration when a president's term ends. Though it restricts sticky fingers from hanging onto classified documents, it’s not prosecutable unless those officials “knowingly” took the material.
