EXCLUSIVE: The inquiry, which was established in 2014, said it hoped to publish its long-awaited report by September
The inquiry report into the Edinburgh trams debacle could be delayed until September, the Record can reveal.
Labour MSP Alex Rowley said: “It is farcical that after years of delays and a spiralling bill, we still don’t have a clear answer on when we will get this long-awaited report. But the focus has now shifted to the cost of the Inquiry itself and why the final report has not come out. Tory MSP Miles Briggs said: “Kicking this report even further down the line only goes to add to the concerns that we are seeing yet more attempts to cover-up what went so wrong with the management of the Edinburgh trams project.
