Eddie Howe insisted Newcastle haven't thought about revenge ahead of playing Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.
It was subsequently revealed, in Amazon Prime's fly-on-the-wall Newcastle documentary, that Howe said 'if they want a quick game… let's f****** give it to them' to his players in the dressing room before that game in April. "That's not our emotion as I sit here now," Howe said when asked whether Newcastle were hungry for revenge. "Our emotion is to prepare to win the game and a win gets us to the quarter-final of the competition.
