Tellus 360 's rooftop deck hosted more than 200 people for a solar eclipse watch party Monday. Visitors armed with special glasses to view the eclipse gazed skyward on and off for about two hours as the eclipse reached its most complete point around 3:20 p.m. Many agreed this rooftop perch was the perfect viewing location. The reviews of the solar eclipse itself were mixed due to cloud cover. 'This was my first eclipse so I didn't really know what to expect, but I've enjoyed it.

Sixth-grade student Aiden Mexton got out of class Monday, so he didn't mind.“I think it was thumbs up.
