ECB gives banks a reason to sort themselves out LJucca

The European Central Bank on Jan. 28 published the outcome of its Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process, which assesses the ability of banks it regulates to adequately face and manage risk.

Capital ratios at six banks out of 109 surveyed fell short of the so-called Pillar 2 guidance, which the regulator imposes on top of minimum mandatory requirements.
