11 a.m., Saturday, July 22 in Cowtown is hosting its 17th annual rib-eating competition, where contestants try to eat as many ribs as they can in just 60 seconds. There’s a $5 entry fee, with first place winning a $500 Riscky's gift card, second place $250 and third place $100. This event is part of the National Day of the American Cowboy celebrations. The Fort Worth Stockyards will, naturally, be hosting events all day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
