What started out as a joke may just be the most Texas of cocktails, and you can order one at this Colleyville bar.

Chef Point Bar & Restaurant

What started as an April Fool’s Day joke earlier this year has now turned into a reality, Chef Point co-owner Paula Nwaeze said. Since the curiosity was there, Chef Point kept tinkering with the idea to bring the special bloody mary to life. The State Fair bloody mary has the same $39 price tag, and again, comes with a beer while the Chef Point crew puts the drink together, Nwaeze said. The special cocktail will be on the menu from Sept. 29 to Oct. 22, the same length as the fair.
