The easyGroup who own companies such as easyJet and easyHotel shared a statement regarding the band's name
The owners of easyJet are suing a band for their name and said it is "confident it will stop the brand thief".
The band released a statement last night on social media claiming they are being sued by the easyGroup which is the owner of brands such as easyJet. The alternative indie pop ground was formed in 2017 by lead singer Murray Matravers. Taking to social media yesterday, the group shared a statement detailing the situation. In the statement, the five-piece told fans they are "virtually powerless" against such a "massive corporation".
“easyJet are suing us for being called Easy Life. They’re forcing us to change our name or take up a legal battle which we could never afford. We’ve worked hard to establish our brand, and I’m certain in no way have we affected their business.
