The U12 players will be competing in the Taiwan World Cup in August and the U15 will be competing in a Mexico tournament in August.
Players from the teams that are part of the Easterns Baseball Federation have joined South African national baseball teams that will be taking part in international baseball tournaments.
President of the Easterns Baseball Federation and coach of the Boksburg Cardinals Baseball team Gavin Bennett said it’s an honour for him to see players from the teams in the association he leads representing South Africa. “I would like to wish coaches and players from different teams in the eastern association luck. We have been in 19 International tournaments, and we have never won even a single tournament. But we are doing well at provincial level which is motivational.
