A flurry of bank holidays are on their way in the UK and that means extra days off for many workers. While that's great news for those looking to enjoy the extra free time, it also means that some supermarket opening times, as well as bin collection day changes are also on the way.Rushcliffe Borough Council Some Easter bin collections in the Rushcliffe area will move.
Gedling Borough Council Gelding is another area where bins will still be collected as normal on Good Friday, April 7. However, the authority is reminding residents to make sure they put their bins out early - collections start from 6am. Mansfield District Council Collection teams for Mansfield District Council will be working as normal over the Easter weekend. Collection crews will be out collecting on both Good Friday, April 7, and Easter Monday, April 10.
