Area shelters’ dogs and cats need their “forever” homes.

Minnie’s foster family says, “Minnie is very loyal and mellow. She loves going for walks and is up for a good hike, but she does not need a lot of exercise. Minnie loves to be with her people and is happy to settle down nearby on a bed or rug. She also loves to sit or lie in the sun and watch the world.” The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

No matter where her foster mom is, Nicky is never far behind. Meeting Nicky is as easy as contacting Renee at [email protected]. Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Martinez and Concord plus our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek.
