Sgt. Dusty Ford with the Gadsden Police Department talking about the importance of having women on the police force. With only two female officers in the department, GPD officials say that number needs to improve. Rainbow City Police Chief Camp Yancey says his department has one female officer. He says increasing that number is part of his plan on community policing.
