The economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, rising housing prices and the devastating aftermath of recent storms have hit San Diego County hard.

5 percent of earned income tax credit-eligible households do not claim them, leaving $1.5 billion unclaimed annually, mainly because they are not aware that they are available resulting in millions of dollars in unclaimed refunds. In San Diego County, vital resources are available at zero cost to qualifying residents to help get more money back in their pockets.
