Early estimates put the opening weekend box office for Marvel's 'Avengers: Endgame' at a record $280 million or more.
"Avengers: Endgame" is rocketing toward a record opening weekend at the box office of at least $280 million, according to early estimates.
"Is $300M even possible?," Exhibitor Relations senior box-office analyst Jeff Bock told Business Insider."That's what a lot of people are wondering and we may find out, as 'Endgame' looks headed towards a mind boggling $280M debut.
"The week before its release is the calm before the cinematic storm, that will only build momentum to a crescendo," Bock said. The movie is also tracking a"consistently higher level of Twitter and Facebook activity" than"Infinity War," according to Robbins.
