Eamonn Holmes has admitted the person he wanted to 'punch' as he shared his regrets – after his shock split from wife Ruth Langsford was announced to the world back in May
Eamonn Holmes has confessed that he felt like "punching" someone as he talked about his regrets – after his surprising split from Ruth Langsford .
Since his split from Ruth was made public, Eamonn has been keeping himself occupied by hosting the GB News breakfast show. He recently shared with viewers his 'biggest regret' after losing a prime job opportunity in the US. Remembering how he informed his wife about the need to relocate to the US, Eamonn continued: "I remember phoning my wife and saying, we're going to have to move out to California, they really want me here. And I'm going down that street with all the palm trees. That's the way I was going to work in this limo, and I had a bungalow there and a golf cart - it was absolutely incredible.", reports the Mirror.
Eamonn shared with GB News: "I really have one regret in my life, that I didn't punch a guy when I was out there. If I had my life to live again, I would have really satisfyingly been sacked for punching this g*t. One episode of the show went out and it came fourth in its rating, so it was behind Lost, The Biggest Loser, and that was it, it disappeared. 36 shows or so disappeared, never to be shown again.
