A former president of the Eagles NFL team criticized wide receiver DeSean Jackson for anti-semitic posts
Jackson said it was a “mistake” to post the quote adding “I truly apologize for posting it and sorry for any hurt I have caused.”
The Eagles on Tuesday called Jackson's posts"offensive, harmful and absolutely appalling" and said the team would take"appropriate action," accordingJackson’s social media pages contain posts supportive of Floyd and Breonna Taylor, who was killed by Louisville police, but also laudatory have posts supportive of Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan, an incendiary figure who speaks of Black empowerment but who many have condemned for comments seen as anti-Semitic.
