The Philadelphia Eagles now know when they'll play the Washington Commanders in Week 18.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts runs against the Washington Commanders during the first half of an NFL football game, Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, in Landover, Md. The Eagles will face the Commanders on Sunday at 4:25 p.
m., the NFL announced on Sunday night. The game will be broadcasted on CBS. The Eagles are riding a three-game winning streak after Sunday’s 13-12 victory over the Buffalo Bills. The Commanders have won just twice since the start of October. If the Eagles win and the Chicago Bears lose to the Detroit Lions in Week 18, the Eagles will secure the NFC’s No. 2 seed — and the chance for at least two home playoff games. The Bears and Lions will also kick off at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, airing on FOX. So the Eagles will have to make a decision to start or rest their starters with the No. 2 seed still up in the air. If the Eagles secure the No. 2 seed, they would play the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers at home in the NFC Wild Card round. If the Eagles don’t secure the No. 2 seed, they’ll be the No. 3 seed. But depending on other results, they could face the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers or Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks and 49ers will square off for the NFC West title and No. 1 seed on Saturday night. The Rams play the Falcons on Monday night and the Cardinals in Week 18.Johnny covers the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football for PennLive.
