PHILADELHIA – The Eagles punched their ticket to Super Bowl LIX by routing the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game on Jan. 26. It’s their fifth all-time berth in the Super Bowl and their second in the last three years.
Barkley finished with 15 carries for 118 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Jalen Hurts finished 20 of 28 for 246 yards and one touchdown, while adding 10 carries for 16 yards and three scores on the ground. While their offense scored an NFL playoff record-tying seven rushing touchdowns, the Eagles’ league-leading defense forced three fumbles and a pick while also forcing three field goals to hold off the pesky Commanders’ attack led by rookie quarterback sensation Jayden Daniels.The Eagles will play either the top-seeded Chiefs or second-seeded Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. Eastern .
