Eagles' Jahan Dotson is ready to make an impact.
Dotson, a 2022 first-round pick, was surprised the Commanders traded him after just two years. During the Eagles’ preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, he got comfortable in his new environment.
With the Eagles, Dotson won’t be as involved in the passing game because he has to share more targets. He could elevate the Eagles’ offense by drawing attention in the slot, which will open things up for Brown and Smith. “It’s going to be fun. I never in all of my years playing have been on a team with this much talent. I’m not only excited to play with them, I’m excited to learn because we have a lot of great guys in the locker room, from top to bottom.”
Dotson could be a better fit in Philadelphia’s offense as a fourth option behind Smith, Brown and tight end“I look forward to working with him,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said. “I think he helps our team and gives an addition to an already deep room.”
