Massi Agosti, a 14-year-old Eagles fan from Penn Valley, battled a rare form of cancer called osteosarcoma. He found unwavering support from the Eagles, especially wide receiver A.J. Brown, who kept in constant contact throughout Massi's treatment. Inspired by A.J.'s support, Massi wanted to help other kids battling osteosarcoma. After his passing, Massi's family established a charity that provides signed jerseys from favorite athletes and raises money for osteosarcoma research. Today, athletes across all sports are donating jerseys to the cause.

In 2022, Massi was 14 years old and playing multiple sports when he started to feel pain in his right knee. "So because it's so rare it doesn't get the research dollars that other cancers get," he continued. "We haven't had any advances in treatment. It's also a very complex cancer with a lot of genetic mutations that make it difficult to target and to cure."
