The Eagles have announced the signing of offensive lineman Josh Andrews, among other moves, as preseason training continues. The team also released linebacker Davion Taylor, who was a third-round pick for them in 2020.
The Eagles agreed to terms on one-year deals for veteran linebackers Zach Cunningham and Myles Jack on Sunday in an effort to bolster the depth chart after two weeks of training camp.
The Eagles came into training camp without any proven commodities at linebacker and a minor ankle injury to Nakobe Dean left them especially barren at the position. Dean, who has taken over play-calling duties with the starting defense in his second season, suffered the injury last Thursday and is considered day-to-day. Outside of Dean, the Eagles have been rotating guys into the first-team defense with Nicholas Morrow and Christian Elliss splitting most of the reps.
