EAC Major General In DR Congo Quits Amid Safety Concerns DRC Kenya EAC Conflict
The East Africa Community Regional Force Commander Major general Jeff Nyagah has announced that he is quitting the command of the force,The Kenyan commander who was deloyed in DR Congo, cited safety reasons, before jetting back to Nairobi in Kenya.
DR Congo has seen a flareup of conflict in the eastern region, where thousands of human rights abuses are being committed against civilians by armed militants.
