At the same time the prior-year comparables will “get much harder” in January, when the company is expecting sales to be up about 50% from the year-earlier period, said Weiser. “The chief financial officer is one of the most conservative we know, and if she believes sales of more than 60% year-over-year in the fiscal second quarter is a good place to be, then she must be confident about 75% or higher, which is what was reported in the fiscal first quarter—and therefore, another sizable beat could be coming, the analyst wrote.
