Ohio State's E.J. Liddell is one of five finalists for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award.
The Buckeye forward is in consideration to win the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award this season, and joined a stacked list of contenders who will all have a strong case to win it. Besides Liddell, Duke's Paolo Banchero, Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren, Iowa's Keegan Murray and Auburn's Jabari Smith all made the cut.
Ohio State's E.J. Liddell has been named one of five finalists for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award alongside Paolo Banchero , Chet Holmgren , Keegan Murray and Jabari Smith .With an average of 19.6 points per game, Liddell is the Big Ten's fourth-leading scorer, and his 7.7 rebounds per game are eight-best in the league. Liddell leads the Big Ten in blocks per game, with an average of 2.6 this season.
Liddell has scored at least 10 points in all 27 games for Ohio State this season, including 12 20-point performances, and has hit double-digit points in 38 straight games dating back to the 2020-21 season.
