DWTS’ pro Artem Chigvintsev arrested for domestic violence
Chigvintsev, 42, was arrested in Napa Valley, Calif., around 10 a.m. local time on Thursday and charged with corporal injury to a spouse. Artem Chigvintsev , seen here in his mugshot Thursday, was released from jail hours after his domestic violence arrest, Page Six can confirm.
A rep for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that the TV personality was detained at the scene after deputies responded to a domestic violence call.Garcia was in Northern California with her husband one day before his arrest, as she shared a photo of herself getting a facial in Downtown Napa.Chigvintsev, seen here with wife Nikki Garcia in 2021, was arrested Thursday morning after sheriff’s deputies received a domestic violence call in Napa Valley, Calif.
The British television presenter also claimed Chigvintsev once told her, “‘You just stand there and don’t move; I dance round you.’”“I would say, ‘Oh please, just kill me, it would be easier.’ Or what was his other one? ‘If you go for a cup of tea now, I will blow off like an atomic bomb.’ I thought, ‘Well, I won’t correct him on that one.’”Chigvintsev denied the allegations a day later during an interview with the Daily Express.
