If you are eligible, you will receive a letter in October from the DWP telling you how much money you are due to be paid
The Department for Work and Pensions has announced the full details of who will get this year's Winter Fuel Payments worth up to £600.
The new online guidance comes after the DWP confirmed yesterday the exact dates of the next £300 cost of living support payment. It is the second of three payments, totalling up to £900 for those eligible and on means-tested benefits, and will hit bank accounts between October 31 and November 19.Most people who claim the State Pension should receive the 2023 Winter Fuel Payment automatically.
This means eligible households could receive between £250 and £600, BirminghamLive reports. Some 11.6 million people over State Pension age received up to £600 in Winter Fuel Payments and cost of living support by December last year.
