Benefit claimants will be issued a tax-free one-off payment in just a couple of weeks
Millions of households are set to receive a £300 cash boost from the Department for Work and Pensions in just two week's time.
Meanwhile, those who receive benefit payments exclusively from HM Revenue and Customs will instead begin receiving the payment from November 10. However, not all benefit claimants will be eligible for the £300 as they must have received a payment for one of the qualifying benefits between August 18, 2023 and September 17, 2023 - known as the qualifying period.
