The weekly cash boost could come to some next month
Thousands of people across the UK - including Glasgow - could receive a cash boost from next month on medical grounds - even if they are able to work.
At present, around three million people across the UK get Personal Independence Payment , a benefit awarded by the Department for Working Pensions to those living with a long-term mental or physical health condition or disability. However amounts will rise by 10.1 per cent from April 2023 in line with the uprating of state benefits.
