Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had his three daughters supporting him at the “Moana 2” premiere. Eight years after the original Disney movie was released, the sequel is making its way to theaters on Nov. 27. To celebrate its release, Johnson, who voices Maui, attended the world premiere held at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute in Kapolei, Hawaii, on Nov. 21.
The movie star also snapped photos with wife Lauren Hashian and their two daughters, who coordinated by wearing dresses in the same Hawaiian print. Ahead of the premiere, Dwayne Johnson shared a video on his Instagram in which he spoke about how personal the story of Moana is to him, his culture and family. Calling himself a “girl dad,” he expressed how the “Moana” films empower the youth and young girls to ask, “What if there’s more out there beyond the reef that you can’t see? ...
