Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says if Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had compromised on the Voice, it would have passed.

The Indigenous Voice was emphatically rejected by a majority of voters in every state and territory except the Australian Capital Territory. The Coalition offered to turn the referendum question into one of recognition of Indigenous Australians.

Speaking on 60 Minutes, he insists Australia’s international reputation won’t be impacted by the result.
