MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday said the Philippine government is coming up with guidelines to ensure the effective implementation of the general community quarantine amid the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
The Inter-Agency Task Force earlier asked the Department of Health, Department of Transportation, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment and the Department of Public Works and Highways to draft the guidelines by April 25 after Duterte approved the recommendation of the task force to place various parts of the country under the GCQ starting May 1.
