MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte is offering a P20-million reward to any Filipino who could develop a respirator for coronavirus patients, Malacañang said Tuesday."Nagbigay din po ng pabuya ang ating Presidente, P20 million para sa sino mang Pilipino na makakabuo ng local respirator," Roque said in a virtual press briefing.Duterte earlier promised to give P50 million in reward money to any Filipino who could discover a vaccine for COVID-19.

The Philippines as of Monday has a cumulative 7,777 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 511 deaths and 932 recoveries.
