Published: Oct. 17, 2025, 4:27 p.m.BROOK PARK, Ohio –An unknown amount of cash was reported stolen at about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28 from Dunkin’, 15800 Snow. Security video showed an unidentified masked person – wearing black clothes, including gloves, shoes and a hooded sweatshirt – using a key to unlock a door to enter the restaurant.

The suspect walked to the manager’s office and emptied 26 pouches containing employee tips. Then the suspect left the building. Dunkin’ restaurants in Parma and Strongsville were robbed in the same way. A Dunkin’ manager said the suspect must have a master key, which would be kept at the Dunkin’ corporate office in Canton, Massachusetts.A Brook Park resident called police at about 6 p.m. Sept. 26 and said someone stole his Keno winnings. The resident said he won $100 on a Keno ticket. When he tried to cash out the ticket at Tavern 150, 5771 Smith, he was told that someone else had already collected the money.A 2008 Lexus ES 350 car was reported stolen Oct. 6 from M & S Auto Repair, 15200 Hummel. The victim had taken the car to M & S for repairs on Sept. 25. Police, after checking license-plate reading cameras posted at various intersections, determined that the car was stolen that very day. Then police learned that M & S had subcontracted the Lexus to a Columbia Station man, who was supposed to repair the vehicle. Once police became involved, the car was returned to M & SAn electric bicycle was reported stolen at about noon Oct. 1 from outside Giant Eagle, 14650 Snow. The victim said he had parked the bike outside of Giant Eagle and was in the store only about five or 10 minutes. When he walked back outside, the bike was gone.A boy told police at about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2 that a Brook Park man, 22, stole his cell phone at Brook Park Recreation Center, 17400 Holland. A video of the incident showed the man taking the cell phone from the indoor basketball court bleachers.On Oct. 7, the boy’s father called police and said his son’s cell phone had been returned, adding that he no longer needed police assistance.
