Throughout both installments in Denis Villeneuve's Dune series, Paul experiences prophetic dreams and visions on a number of occasions. Many of Paul's visions in Dune are shown to come true, including one that carries over from the first film to the second.

However, it also brings about a glaring inconsistency. Chani Strikes The Same Pose As Paul From His Vision Of Dune 2's Final Battle In 2021's Dune, a particular vision of Paul's involves him engaging in combat on a battlefield while wearing golden armor.
In Dune: Part Two's climactic battle between the Fremen and the Harkonnens, Chani takes out an enemy soldier before herself turning to the camera and lifting a blade across her chest in a near-identical shot to that in the first movie. It's a callback to how Paul brings his left arm across his chest as he clutches a blade tightly in his hand in the previous movie.
