Innovation of the Sustainability Champion initiative was celebrated at the award ceremony in Glasgow
Dumfries and Galloway College is celebrating after winning Scotland’s Digital Learning Award for its Digiplan Project.
It also celebrates the innovation taking place in colleges across the country and Dumfries and Galloway College’s Sustainability Champion initiative was also highly commended in the Sustainability Action Award shortlist. “At Dumfries and Galloway College, we are passionate about providing innovative, flexible learning solutions that meet the needs of our learners and local employers and the Digiplan project does exactly that.”
In order to overcome any geographical and transport issues, which have been viewed as barriers in providing career pathways, the Skills Delivery Team at DGC have developed an innovative and inclusive solution, allowing work-based learners to upskill and access personal and professional development using one-to-one support and digital assessment plan – Digiplans.
