Pengerusi TDM, Datuk Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil berkata, projek loji janakuasa di Kilang Minyak Sawit Kemaman dan Sungai Tong dekat ini yang bernilai hampir RM50 juta beroperasi sepenuhnya pada Jun 2020.

“TDM dengan kerjasama Concord Biotech Sdn. Bhd. telah membangun, mengendali dan mengekalkan penjanaan kuasa berasaskan tenaga yang boleh diperbaharui,” katanya. Pada majlis itu, Sultan Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin berkenan mencemar duli merasmikan loji janakuasa biogas itu.
