The comedian and the pop star traded compliments during a new episode of Lipa's podcast.
host reflected on his friendship with the "New Rules" singer and"I said to my friend one day, 'Every time I see Dua Lipa, it's at an award show. So, now that means if I see her, my life is going well,'" he said. "Now I just hope to see her more so that it means my life is going exceptionally well."
"You've always been really wonderful and gracious," he added, addressing the podcast host. "You've always been a really wonderful light, just in the spaces that everybody's in." The pair also shared how they first became familiar with the other's work, with Lipa saying that she wanted to invite the comedian onto the show after reading his 2016 memoir,She ended the conversation by saying, "It's been a real pleasure talking to you and getting to know you a little bit more beyond the book as well."
Though rumors have continued to circulate over the pair's relationship status, Lipa herself has clarified that she has. During her conversation with Charli XCX on the podcast's October 7 episode, the "Don't Start Now" singer said that she has focused on herself over the past year. "For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time," she said.
