While those watching loved the presenting dynamics between Dua and Megan - who have just teamed up on their latest single Sweetest Pie - others on the internet also quickly noticed that the trio were probably paying tribute to a similar moment in 1998, when Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston were both wearing the same outfit when they presented an award at the 1998 VMAs - before Carey removed the bottom half of her own dress.
Megan and Dua have both previously won best new artist at the Grammys, and this year the award went to the big winner of the night, pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia also won the trophies for best pop vocal album for Sour and pop solo performance for her hit Drivers License. However, while she might have bagged three awards, she couldn't carry them all - as she dropped one at the winners' press conference, causing it to break in half. Celebs, they're just like us.
