Dua buah kapal pengangkut berdaftar di Monrovia ditahan selepas disyaki bersauh secara haram di perairan Johor Timur di sini, petang semalam
Pemangku Pengarah Zon Maritim Tanjung Sedili, Komander Maritim Mohd. Najib Sam berkata, kapal pengangkut pertama ditahan bot ronda Maritim Malaysia pada pukul 1.00 tengah hari pada kedudukan 25.2 batu nautika timur laut Tanjung Siang.
“Kedua-dua kapal pengangkut itu ditahan Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia , Zon Maritim Tanjung Sedili kerana melakukan kesalahan bersauh tanpa kebenaran di perairan Johor Timur. “Oleh itu, kes akan disiasat di bawah Seksyen 491B Ordinan Perkapalan Saudagar 1952,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
