CEBU CITY -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII here has started the pay out to more than 149,579 waitlisted beneficiaries of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) cash aid and other subsidies to poor families in Central Visayas.
CEBU CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VII here has started the pay out to more than 149,579 waitlisted beneficiaries of the Social Amelioration Program cash aid and other subsidies to poor families in Central Visayas.
Geamala said that these waitlisted beneficiaries were eligible low-income families which were not included in the first tranche of emergency subsidy given by the national government. The DSWD has also credited, on June 11, the emergency cash subsidy through SAP for the 147,406 Pantawid ng Pamilyang Pililipino Progam beneficiaries with cash cards in Cebu, and currently ongoing payout of the second tranche to 2,136 Pantawid non-cash holders for the SAP in Cebu Province.
