An intoxicated Berea woman punched two other women in the back of their heads at about midnight Oct. 20 inside The Sportsman’s Tavern in Berea.
BEREA, Ohio – An intoxicated Berea woman, 33, punched two other women in the back of their heads at about midnight Oct. 20 inside The Sportsman’s Tavern, 483 Prospect Street.
According to the victims and witnesses, the woman was upset over a recent change in the bar’s ownership. She became angry when she discovered that three Strongsville friends – a 46-year-old woman and her husband, 50, and a 39-year-old woman – were in the bar. The Berea woman sent threatening text messages to her three friends, then arrived at The Sportsman’s Tavern at about midnight. She punched the Strongsville women several times. The Strongsville man grabbed the Berea woman and restrained her, and asked bystanders to call police.
