Jamil went fishing alone at Tasik Kiambang, unaware that an angler had drowned there two days earlier.
Last week a 26-year-old man drowned while fishing alone at the mining pond that is popular with anglers.
He told StarMetro that it was his second time coming to fish at Tasik Kiambang and he was unaware of the drowning case. “This pond is more than seven metres deep and anglers should be cautious when fishing here,” he said, adding that those who come here should know how to swim.“I hope that those who come here to fish take safety measures,” said Jamil.
