In a statement released Monday afternoon, officials at Hill AFB confirmed the sightings near the Davis County air base. \'We can confirm that unmanned aerial systems were spotted in the vicinity of Hill AFB recently.
To date, unmanned aerial systems have not impacted Hill AFB operations and all appropriate measures are being taken to safeguard Hill AFB personnel, assets, and infrastructure,' the statement read. \Hill AFB and the Camp Williams National Guard training site in Bluffdale confirmed they’ve received reports of drones near their operations. Camp Williams officials said the reports involve smaller drone sightings over the last several months.
