Bettina Parmer says she had to evacuate Fort Nelson and was delayed for a couple of days. Parmer said she frequents the ALCAN for her work. The current resources responding to the fire include wildfire crews, aviation, an Incident Management Team, and structure protection. The wildfire is still considered out of control and is actively spreading, anticipated to spread beyond its current circumference.
