A driver is trapped after his dump truck crashed into water near Pineview Reservoir Friday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Tara Wahlberg said a dump truck was driving near Trappers Loop and state Route 39 when it drove off the road and crashed into some water just before 4 p.m. Wahlberg said it is unknown yet why the vehicle drove off the road.
The driver is trapped in the water and emergency responders are trying to get the driver out, Wahlberg said. The driver's condition is unknown and a helicopter and more officers are headed to the scene to assist.
