San Antonio police seek a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was killed on U.S. 90 near Loop 1604. Debris suggests a red 2022-2025 Nissan Sentra with left-front damage and a missing driver-side mirror.

Investigators recovered vehicle parts left behind after the crash that they believe belong to a red 2022-2025 Nissan Sentra. The vehicle is expected to have significant damage to the left front corner and be missing the driver's side mirror.

SAN ANTONIO — Investigators are searching for the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on U.S. Highway 90 early Thursday morning before leaving the scene. The crash happened around 4:50 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 90 between Montgomery Drive and Loop 1604 on the Far West Side.

According to investigators, the man was walking in the main lanes of the highway, where there is no crosswalk and pedestrians are not permitted, when he was hit by a vehicle. The driver did not stop to help or call for assistance. Investigators recovered vehicle parts left behind after the crash that they believe belong to a red 2022-2025 Nissan Sentra.

The vehicle is expected to have significant damage to the left front corner and be missing the driver's side mirror. Authorities are asking anyone who has seen a red Nissan Sentra matching that description, or who has information that could help identify the driver, to come forward.
