According to Shaker Heights, officers spotted the stolen Kia and attempted to pull over the driver, because it was the same vehicle involved in a shooting earlier this month.

Around 11:15 p.m. on March 20, occupants of that Kia fired two rounds into a vehicle in the 14000 block of Onaway Rd. A 34-year-old woman and her 32-year-old sister were sitting in the vehicle. They were not injured, but the bullets caused damage to the rear, passenger’s side tire and rear passenger’s side window.
