A car careened off the southbound Henry Hudson Parkway and plunged into a construction site below Thursday afternoon, leaving the driver injured. The 78-year-old driver was headed northbound on the parkway when he lost control of his 2018 Honda SUV, possibly after he was cut off.First responders pulled the driver from the smoking vehicle and was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he is in critical but stable condition. He is expected to survive.At least one lane is closed on the Henry Hudson Parkway as police investigate.
