The police have shared details of two stops over the Bank Holiday weekend
Police in Co Down have shared details of three arrests on Sunday in which drivers were drunk at the wheel – with one allegedly so inebriated he could not stand nor talk to officers.
The driver was found to be disqualified from driving and had no insurance. He was so drunk that he struggled to stand and talk properly.
"At the same time, officers in Clough stopped another drink driver who was reported as driving all over the road. Not only was he drunk, but the car which he was driving had been stolen. He was also arrested."
