A van driver was arrested early Wednesday after crashing his vehicle through a security barricade near the White House , authorities said. Washington DC’s Metropolitan Police Department said they were called to assist the Secret Service at 6:37 a.
m. ET after the van drove through the barricade at Connecticut Avenue and H Street Northwest. No injuries were reported and the van driver was not immediately identified.
